My name is Anna Anjos, from Brazil. I'm an illustrator, 2D animator, graphic designer, textile designer, writer with over 20 years’ experience. I was born in Sao Paulo and have developed sucessful creative projects for several national and international brands for advertising, TV and publishing (children’s book).
In 2024 I launched my first illustrated digital book "Paths of Creativity: from theory to practice" (in Portuguese, and the first in Brazil about creativity and A.I.) analyzing, through anthropology and neuroscience, the relevance of illustration and creativity in the era of Artificial Intelligence.
My illustrations have the DNA of Brazil.
My illustrations focus on representation, diversity, and empowerment. My inspirations are: the visual and musical culture of Brazilian roots (popular festivals and traditions), African culture (Yoruba), and the ancestry of the indigenous peoples of Brazil. African and indigenous religions, science fiction, and world mythologies are also elements that participate in the universe of my creation.
My artistic production stands out for its unique and authentic style. Through this originality, technique and strong sensitivity, I capture the world around me, decoding it in vibrant colors, geometric shapes and organic elements.

It was in 2015, during my artistic project “Route of Colors”, that I felt in love with Budapest, Hungary, where I lived for a year. After that, I moved to Hamburg, Germany, where I lived for almost 10 years. I speak English and German fluently, but my favorite way of communication is through art, which transcends all geographical boundaries.
With a well-established artistic career, my research now delves into the symbolic and spiritual dimensions of the image. Since 2025, I have been exploring the intersection of symbol, culture, and spirituality. Drawing on Jung’s studies of archetypes and the collective unconscious, I have developed Mediumistic Pictography as a visual language that bridges the visible and the symbolic, uniting art, intuition, and meaning in unique works created 100% entirely by hand.
